The future of RISCOS Ltd.

Posted by Alasdair Bailey on 17:48, 5/6/2000 | , ,

Following speculation over the weekend about the departure of Justin Fletcher from RISCOS Ltd., Gareth J Dykes, Chairman of the company said today:

"RISCOS Ltd is not only still with us but we are planning at least two new product launches later in the year! It is always disappointing when such potentially damaging reports appear without being checked. Pace Micro Technology (who have a 20% stake in RISCOS Ltd), who are developing RISC OS for non-desktop applications and RISCOS Ltd are currently in discussions over development policy, to avoid overlapping development, with RISCOS Ltd continuing to service hardware and software partners, and users, in the desktop market."
