This would have been up bloody hours ago if WS_FTP would just *work* :|

Just work for 15 mins, without breaking, and I'll stop using you! Please!

Yay! I think it's great. :E

I have spotted 2 minor points:

The contact page doesn't make it clear who to put in the e-mail feild (ie. the user's address or you / Jeffrey).

Also, the site pages like "updates" and "contact" don't say (eg.) "site | updates" at the top, in keeping with the rest of the site.

Oh yeah... I have RISC OS Select and Oddball and Asylum work fine. :) However there is one thing with Asylum; there are some vertical flickerings of the background image (quite rarely). The horizontal flickering was all cleared up by :flamethrower:'s patch.

*checks over site*

Yup, looks good 8)

I'll fix that in a min. Also apparently it sends two copies of the email, so I'll look into that at the same time :o

*checks*

Ah, I see what you mean. I don't think that's a problem, so I'll leave it up to moss to decide

Good, I'll make a note of that on the site

Is this in mode 49 or mode 13? If it's mode 49 then it's probably the code that expands the screen to fill the extra rows that's playing up, like it does on the menus. I'll have to have a good look at the source some time...

*goes to work on site*

Yeah - I just checked... It happens in mode 49 - not mode 13 and it's the same problem as the menu glitch.

I've uploaded* a couple of test HTML block listings to http://asylum.acornarcade.com/gifs/table.html and http://asylum.acornarcade.com/gifs/table2.html, the 2nd being a bit neater with left/right blocks put together on the same line to make a meaningful shape ;)

Be warned that it's not for dodgy browsers or people with pacemakers - there are about 500 different images linked to :o

* - Uploading, rather. My connection keeps pausing between every few files, meaning that it's taking an awful long time to upload what's only 130K of data :|

Oooh, yay for the AA posting :) And the test gif stuff looks good; I'll integrate that into the site today, along with a few other minor changes. And thanks for the Select testing, Michael :)

I thought the headings were better without the site motif, as it seemed obvious; however, I might change it as it looks inconsistant. Hmm, I'll think about it.

Right; off to email :flamethrower: :o

Hmn; I might reorganise the compatibility PFAQ; it was confusing when I wrote it, and still is now :P I'll make it a list, one item for each version of RISC OS.

This all looks great. I must say I missed Asylum when it came out.
So is FastSprite now upgraded to 16bit and 24bit graphics?

I remember playing it ages ago; I always loved it. Odd to suddenly be involved in all this!

No - there *probably* won't be any development of any Gamesuite modules themselves, as it's the games we're more interested in. Unless :flamethrower: suddenly gets it into his head that we could design really cool levels if we could use 24-bit sprites 8) Probably way too much work, though.

Hmmm - that nobrainer page could really do with some sample output to show what it produces, and a better explanation - I might go home and get some in a bit :)

Maybe the Asylum site should be added to this list. And the Kryten site as well, when it's ready. :o

The new PFAQ page looks fine in IE but in Oregano all the text is green from "1.1. Which versions of RISC OS will this software run on?" down to the bottom of the page. :o
