This from the Aemulor FAQ:
Q. I live outside of the UK. Do I still have to pay VAT?
This depends on two things. Whether you live within the European Union, and if you do, whether you are a VAT-registered company outside of the UK.
If you live in any of the following countries, then you have to pay UK VAT @ 17.5% on your purchase :
United Kingdom and the Isle of Man Austria Belgium Denmark, except the Faroe Islands and Greenland Finland France, including Monaco Germany, except Busingen and the Isle of Heligoland Greece The Republic of Ireland Italy, except the communes of Livigno and Campione d’Italia and the Italian waters of Lake Lugano Luxembourg The Netherlands Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira Spain, including the Balearic Islands but excluding Cueta and Melilla Sweden
What fantastic regulations! At least all Iyonix users on the Isle of Heligoland know exactly where they stand, I guess. |

Well dont blame us, blame Customs and Excise - they set the VAT regulations!
On a more serious note, we have worked hard to write a purchasing system with our European and non-EU neighbours in mind so they arent charged UK VAT unnecessarily.
Cheers,
Neil. www.aemulor.com |

If you meant aemulor.com and not iconbar.com though, it's still the right website (take a look at the support forums at http://support.aemulor.com/ for the latest news). |

take a look at the support forums at http://support.aemulor.com/ for the latest news). The support forums are mainly for people reporting problems, and yet they've been pretty quiet of late... we took that as a good sign, but perhaps people just got bored!
EDIT: I haven't got the quoting right on a single reply today
