Advantage Six's new assembly plant [updated]

Posted by Richard Goodwin on 09:48, 5/5/2004 | , , , ,

Stu Tyrrell sends word of Advantage Six Ltd's new assembly plant. The workers look happy enough, although it's not known how much they're getting paid.

Assembly Assembly

Given that the Unipod project seems to have been internally codenamed "Indigo", does this bright orange case point to some new project, or just a liking for bright colours? Time will tell I guess...

Actually they're teaser pics for the new machine from A6, called the A75. As they're teasers there's not much more info at present, except that everyone seems to be getting different teaser pics. Far be it from me to recommend looking Drobe, but they have pics too.

Update: this press release shows that A6 have a RISC OS 4 Authorised Manufacturer license. Would you need one of those if it was just a PC with a RISC OS emulator? Hmmm...

Very interesting details for STD/A6 at http://www.wakefieldshow.org.uk/exhib.shtml - they're giving no secrets away there either... ;)
