Some things we noticed in the RISC OS world this month. What did you see?
 
A new game idea was floated on Stardot forums. We interviewed the author.
 
R-Comp update Quake to work with RapsberryPi 3
 
New RaspberryPi for Pi Day announced on RasbpberryPi blog.
 
RISC OS Blog has a great article on Running a web server with WebJames
 
RISCOSitory opened the voting for 2017 RISC OS awards.

Just for the sake of historical record, Pi3 support was the smallest of the new Quake features. The main improvement was support for VFP floating point for double the performance which can be used for 60fps smoothness, high resolution or widescreen etc. Also improved mod support allowing for loads more levels/games to run (eg. the supplied Malice total conversion).

And, yes, it runs on Pi3 now!
