small children's mouths
Mr. Poole -the point is you started making a fuss when I used about 4 hypens for a laugh and then continued making a fuss even when I returned to using 1 hyphen which I thought was acceptable. So please shut up!

Moss - you should be shot. And to think Rich Goodwin gets all self-righteous and uppity with me!

which was funny

Andrew - grow up, you idiot. And to think I was quite liking you again! Ever heard of something called a joke? Stop being so self-righteous.

but hilarious

I think you need to grow up.
Are you saying you haven't over-reacted? And why is it irresponsible?

Making a more general point; not particuarly about you; it's amazing how offended some people in the RISC OS community get. I've seen it on TIB, on #riscos, on the newsgroups; sometimes, as the slightest mention of something slightly risque, people throw a fit. It's all rather pointless and unpleasant - I don't see why people get to offended...

Take a look at what you wrote when I whinged, it lowers the tone greatly and is degrading.

I can't see anything wrong with what I've written... care to enlighten me?

(and yours was two words and now you've forgotten!)

If you're only capable of finding fault in others then you need to sit down and think harder.

No; 'OK then I' is three words. But admittedly, it didn't make much sense :P

a) That's not true; how does me finding fault in others = me being *only* capable of finding fault in others?
b) It was you who started this by finding fault in me...

I still think the general point I make stands. There is *so* much prudishness around the various RISC OS outlets; I feel very, very restricted in what I can say. I don't feel that anywhere else I go. It really doesn't make the community a nice place to be. :(

EDIT: Anyway, I won't prolong this any longer. Have your say, if you want, and then let's drop it. Even I've got more important things to do :)

I wasn't finding fault, just criticising your very bad taste. You have plenty of leeway here anyway wrt what you can say.

the old days
I have now left it. And calm the heck down, I should ave just as much right to criticise as people have to say things that may not agree with everybody else. You complained about my breaking of the rules by hyphenating, I complained about :moss:'s sickly child-molesting comment.
