^ This. Too many game, too little time.

I've put Metroid Prime 3, Lego Star Wars Complete Saga, Simpsons Game and Endless Ocean (Just because it looks cool) to my list-of-things-people-can-get-me-for-christmas-if-they-can't-think-of-anything.

I've no idea how the selection process works, but if you go to the posting plaza in the Mii Contest Channel, choose the UK region (if there's a globe icon on the right instead of a Union Jack, click it), and do a search for the Design talent, you *might* see my Wallace. If you can see him, please point at him and say you like it. Ta.

(Four posts in a row on the Monkey Wii show...)

I'm not allowing myself to buy it yet. I still have Metroid Prime to finish, Hotel Dusk to start, and I haven't got Phantom Hourglass yet either.
Finished Metroid today. Woo! I seem to have great trouble with the final bosses in the Metroid Prime series unhappy

Also: I have teh Marios!

EDIT: How did you get the Wii to display in the corner of your screen? Do you have a TV dongle for your Mac, or a multi-input monitor?

Some elements of Mario Galaxy really remind me of Bug Hunter In Space.

There's at least one level where you end up on a tetris shaped block that slides along the screen. You pass through different zones where the gravity attracts in a new direction (up, down, left, or right) and have to make sure you're standing on the correct edge to avoid falling off.

About fucking time. I've been waiting for this for ages grin

I've got 6215 stars that I've accumulated over the last few years.

Ooh, there's actually real stuff in the stars catalogue now, too shock

Shame the link for the Wii Points Card Shop doesn't actually work (for me, anyway)...

and.. 4:1? Bah! Not bad, but not as good as I'd hoped. I might hold out for a bit and see if anything good appears in the stars catelogue.

Ah, launching a site on a Friday afternoon - never a good idea.

I've no idea how many stars I've got - I collected the bits of paper but didn't enter them (I thought they'd expire before I got around to using them).

I shall find out tonight!

A hard looking game that Phlamethrower would like, there. But why implement a vertical scroller in that aspect ratio? Turn it 90 degrees and it would work *much* better on a widescreen TV.

So they can have pretty pictures at the side of the screen, of course.

So, Mario Kart Wii comes out in three weeks time. Anyone besides me planning on getting it?

Andy. Spent most of his third year at uni playing Mario Kart on the Gamecube with housemates.

Maybe. I'm not convinced it will be as fun as Excite Truck, though.

I just noticed Sam & Max Episode 4 was offered for free on Steam, and I downloaded it. It has since been deleted off my computer and my Steam account. What a load of utter crap.

It's not that great - the video resolution is quite low (Paxman's nose uses about 2 pixels), there's no full screen mode, the interface uses the standard iPlayer web site which doesn't fit on the screen properly, and the grey on black text is hard to read.

The potential is definitely there, though - if they optimise the UI.

So who's getting Mario Kart Wii this weekend, then?
Not me, I'm going on holiday to rainy Venice! (I have pre-ordered Wii Fit, though. shock)
