Hi all, first post, I hope I'm not comitting a horrid faux pas by posting an advert smile

I've just released a new version of Popcorn, which is a programming library for writing games in C for RISC OS. It includes useful features like a resource manager, object handler and fast sprite plotter.

New in this version, the sprite plotter can do 32 bpp sprites with 255 levels of alpha blending. There are also some new functions to take advantage of some hardware acceleration if running on an Iyonix. The API has been tidied up significantly, and the StrongHelp manual brought up to date.

Full source is provided, and you may use Popcorn for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.

There's also a tutorial, with full source code, available from the same web page.

You can get Popcorn from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rik.griffin/popcorn.html

I hope this is of interest to someone, and please feel free to contact me with questions / feedback.
