Upgrade to Impact V3.29

4D are pleased to announce an upgrade to the easy to use Impact
relational database system, version 3.29.

Version 3.27 introduced a fully updated user manual for the first time in
eight years. Version 3.29 builds on this work and the relevant chapters
of the HTML manual are now directly accessible from most of the major
Impact tools at the click of a mouse. Further sections, explanations and
examples have been added as the result of user feedback, helping users
to get the most out of this powerful database system.

In addition a new PDF version of the manual has been produced (many thanks
to Martin Wuerthner for assistance with this) containing a document
overview tree and clickable cross-references.

The application itself has been enhanced, with a number of changes to the
search and replace tool and faster table display.  Impact 3.29 is fully
compatible with the new A9home computer, and a demonstration copy will be
included on each new machine sold.

For users who have already upgraded to version 3.27 or 3.28, a free
download will be made available shortly. Please await further
announcements. The free download will upgrade the application itself,
but not provide the direct links to the manual.  For this you will need
to purchase an upgraded CD.
