RCI announce new wireless ADSL router, and price drops

R-Comp Interactive is pleased to announce the release of a new
addition to our range of ADSL products - an ADSL router with all
the advantages of our existing ADSL routers, but with the addition
of Wireless networking.

The new unit has a PCMCIA slot (akin to those found on laptops) into
which the supplied 802.11b wireless network card fits.  Once installed,
the unit allows wireless, as well as wired connections.

The unit has four standard network ports, which we recommend for use
with standard desktop machines (the speed/reliabiliy benefits of
wired networking being recommended for desktop systems) with the
wireless networking being ideal for laptops and suchlike.

Indeed, it is the recent release of our RISCBook laptop computers
(which include wireless networking as standard) which has prompted
the release of these units.

The price is 149ukp inclusive of VAT and delivery, and (as usual)
includes our NetFetch RISC OS software, and our special documentation.
UK delivery is also included.

If existing RCI broadband customers wish to upgrade, we are able to
offer some discounts (although not huge) - please call if you are
interested.



Additionally, we are please to announce reductions in price for our
standard 4port ADSL routers and also our 4 port cable routers.
The prices are now 109ukp inclusive of VAT and software and UK delivery.
The cable router is available with printer sharing facility for
139ukp inclusive (includes RISC OS driver software).
