Enhancements to RISCube specifications!

We are pleased to announce that we have been able to enhance the
specification of all new RISCube machines, allowing customers to
benefit from changes in the component market.

Firstly, all standard spec machines now ship with at least 2000+
processors (often higher, depending upon availability).  This
ensures higher performance, as does the use of slightly higher
specificiation memory.

Standard RISCubes also benefit from a move to high speed 
(whilst still very very quiet) hard drives.  This means the
machines boot faster, and offer better data transfer rates and
load times!

Latest CDRW/DVD drives across all machines also add to the
better overall performance.  All RISCubes are able to read and 
write CD and CDRW discs, as well as read/play DVD discs.  
DVD writing is available as an option.

Improvements to noise levels are also present (you can read 
more about this separately).

High spec RISCubes benefit from a number of additional improvements
too, such as improved digital audio capability (they were already
excellent, and are now even further enhanced), new high-speed
firewire connectivity, offical support for up to 3200+
processors, and more tweaking options (tucked away, but there
for expert users).

These machines also now ship with 7-in-1 media drives as
well as floppy disc drive (again, see separate announcement).
