R-Comp announce enhanced DataPower 2 CD

We are pleased to announce a new revision of the CD edition of
the leading DataPower 2 RISC OS relational database software.

The big change is a totally new version of the manual and
documentation, now expanded to cover the scripting language
in more detail, be more RISC OS specific and provide much
clearer information on all aspects of DP2.  Existing R-Comp
registered DP2 users will receive this shortly via email
(we are aiming to release it at a convenient time to minimise
download time/costs).   Being HTML-based, the new manual
is can also be useful for Windows DP2 owners (although
R-Comp is unable to provide any further support for those
users).

Additionally, we have included a new database drawn from the
DP2 email mailing list, containing over 1000 postings and
articles about DP2.  This is fully searchable and we hope
will provide a helpful resource to users.

The installation software has now also been enhanced based
on experiences with VirtualRPC.  The default locations
for installation should now work sensibly on all RISC OS
machines.

We would like to publicly thank Julian Fry and Tony Moore
for their assistance in the development of this release
of DataPower 2 CD edition.
