RISCube Ultras are back in stock

R-Comp Interactive is pleased to announce that our popular RISCube 
Ultra computers are now available again, whilst stocks last.  The 
RISCube Ultra is a unique system, leveraging Intel's low-power, high 
performance Centrino technology to give stunning results for both RISC 
OS and Windows XP.  Unfortunately, the chassis used in the RISCube 
Ultra is a rare beast, and we were unable to source more after 
Wakefield this year.  However, the good news is that we have found an 
alternative supplier for another batch of chassis, so the RISCube 
Ultra rolls onwards!

The RISCube Ultra has been a popular product with users for many 
reasons - it offers some of the highest RISC OS performance available 
(eclipsing other pure-ARM and hybrid systems), whilst featuring a 
highly desirable range of connectors - parallel, serial, floppy drive, 
USB2 ports, firewire, PCI and AGP expansion and so on.  And it runs 
very quietly.


When this new batch of chassis runs out (about half the units are now 
accounted for with current and back-orders), we expect a short delay 
before we transition on to new revisions of the Ultra (based on 
similar technology) later in the year.  However, we have not yet seen 
any alternative chassis with the same connectivity (eg. floppy drive, 
parallel and serial ports are all vanishing!).  As such, we would urge 
RISC OS users who wish to take advantage of such connectivity to 
strike while the iron is hot!
