Stuart Tyrrell Developments announce UniPod

Stuart Tyrrell Developments are pleased to announce UniPod - "the only
RiscPC podule you'll ever need"(tm).
UniPod was commissioned by Stuart Tyrrell Developments and is
manufactured by Simtec Electronics. It is designed to give RiscPC owners
a cost-effective expansion route. UniPod offers a plethora of functions
to be performed within a single expansion card slot. This makes it ideal
for those wishing to expand a RiscPC, or to prolong the effectiveness of
a RiscPC as a secondary machine.
The UniPod hardware offers the following functions:
32Bit STD USB host/device interface (including MassFS V1.00 drivers)
32Bit STD NET100 network interface (including bootp client)
32Bit STD IDE interface (up to 4 devices, including disk utilites)
With options of:
2nd printer port for the addition of standard printers.
Enhanced econet-compatible expansion port.
Purchasing options
------------------
Unipod may be purchased with one or all functions (USB/NET100/IDE).
Pricing is as follows:
UniPod with one above function : UKP99 inc VAT and carriage
Adding further functions : UKP25inc each
UniPod with 3 functions (all of 32-bit USB/NET100/IDE) : UKP139 inc VAT
and carriage
Further functions may simply be added by the customer without having to
return the card.
Pricing for printer port option and expansion cards to be announced.

Example purchase
----------------
If you require a fast network interface to network two machines:
Buy UniPod with NET100 function at UKP99 inc.
Later you decide to use the machine as a fileserver and need a fast IDE
interface to drive a large hard drive:
Purchase the IDE function at UKP25inc.
Your daugher wants to buy you a USB interface for your birthday.
She purchases a gift voucher for the USB function at UKP25inc.
Note that any combination of functions may be enabled using the above
method.
Availability
------------
UniPod may be ordered immediately, with a number avaiable to retail
customers on a first-come-first-served basis. Full production quantities
of UniPod have already been commissioned and will be available shortly.
