It's great, isn't it? I've only played the demo, too.
Perhaps I should try and hunt down these old games and see if they can be made free; and if they can, stick 'em on Acorn Arcade... |

Luckily Oregan are still around to be asked. And they let ProSound/StudioSound be released. |

Let's remember what else they did first, so we can ask about them all.
There was Sally and Wally, Burn Out (which has been released), and Quark. Get Quark!
Might have to get in touch with the original authors of the games for their permission too. That might be harder. |

Shall I e-mail them? I guess it's worth a shot. I only ever had the demo off a cover CD - it was really great. It works on a SA Risc PC if you turn the cache off before you start and then turn it on again once you are in the game.
Cheers,
Mike |

Yes, get Quark!
Again, I only ever had the demo but I played it /so/ much! The graphics in that game were really well drawn and it had a funky style to it. |

What about Eclipse, as well? I want to play the full version of Hamsters!
We can't let these games die. |

I never played Quark
http://www.acorn-gaming.org.uk/index.php3?p=Database/DB23#Quark
Says it's RPC incompatible; would need work doing to it. |

No idea, although Andrew Foyle might be a good start. As for Tom, last I heard he was in Liverpool writing PSX games for Psygnosis, very much doubt he'll still be at the address I've got for him. ________ Cheers, Rich.

Thanks. I'll leave that for a bit, and concentrate on Oregan stuff first, I think.
Anyone know of a complete list of their games? Mind you, unless it's pretty easy for them to just give the rights up, we might be as well to concentrate on trying to get the best tiles made freeware. Hmmmm. |

Hamsters was great; I only had the demo (one level ) but the blood was wonderful. And it played in a lovely high-res mode too |
