So far ive just put up with it, but is there any program to fix this? Or does Stronguard/Gmae on! do this? If it does I might actually get off my posteria and buy it. |

You need a mode definition that stretches the picture to fill the whole screen by increasing the distance between each horizontal scanline. The exact parameters required will depend upon your type of monitor, but there are various generic definitions available, e.g. for a 14" or 17" VGA monitor (those similar to Acorn AKF60/85, at least). The stretching usually leads to a 'gappy' appearance, so the next step is to enable interlace in screen modes with relatively low vertical resolution. This may be done automatically using a module by druck (named 'Interlace' IIRC). ________ Christopher Bazley |
